The SVS Prime Satellite 2.1 Speaker System pairs two compact Prime Satellite speakers with the acclaimed SB-1000 Pro sealed subwoofer to deliver full-range sound in a surprisingly small footprint. Engineered for precision rather than mere size reduction, the system is equally at home as a stereo music system or a dedicated home theatre front end.
Prime Satellite Speakers
Each Prime Satellite is a 2-way passive loudspeaker built around a 1-inch aluminium hard-dome tweeter and a 4.5-inch polypropylene cone mid-bass driver with rubber surround. The cabinet uses a rear-firing bass-reflex port to extend low-frequency output down to 69Hz, working in tandem with the subwoofer to cover the full audio spectrum without gaps. Five-way binding posts accept bare wire, spades, or banana plugs, and magnetic grilles are included for a clean aesthetic.
At 224mm × 126mm × 162mm and 3.0kg per enclosure, the Prime Satellite can sit on any surface, mount on a wall bracket, or integrate into a multi-channel configuration alongside other SVS Prime and Ultra Series speakers — all voiced to match seamlessly.
SB-1000 Pro Subwoofer
The SB-1000 Pro uses a high-excursion 12-inch driver in a sealed enclosure, driven by SVS's 325-watt Sledge STA-325D amplifier with a fully discrete MOSFET output stage. The subwoofer's frequency response extends from 20Hz to 270Hz, integrating with the satellite speakers via the crossover settings on your AV receiver or amplifier.
The rear Intelligent Control Interface (ICI) panel provides touch-button adjustment of level, low-pass filter frequency, and phase — critical for dialling in a seamless crossover with the satellite speakers. A USB port powers the optional SVS SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter for cable-free placement flexibility.
System Integration
As a matched system from a single manufacturer, both components are voiced to complement each other. The satellites hand off cleanly to the subwoofer, with no crossover mismatch or tonal discontinuity. The compact scale of both units makes the system practical for rooms where a floorstanding or standmount arrangement is not an option, while the Black Ash finish offers a natural, understated aesthetic that suits a wide range of room styles.
