1. Scope of Warranty
1.1 These terms apply to all eligible products purchased on or after 26/11/2025 directly from quantumav.co.uk (“Quantum AV”).
1.2 The Quantum AV Extended Warranty (“the Warranty”) provides up to six (6) years of cover against defects in materials or workmanship under normal consumer use.
1.3 Products purchased prior to this date remain subject to the warranty terms displayed at the time of purchase.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Warranty applies only to brand-new products purchased directly from Quantum AV and delivered to UK addresses.
2.2 The Warranty is provided to the original purchaser and is non-transferable, unless expressly permitted by the manufacturer.
2.3 Products purchased through third-party retailers, marketplaces, auction sites, or resellers are excluded from the Quantum AV Extended Warranty. These purchases are covered only by the manufacturer’s standard warranty.
3. Warranty Coverage
3.1 During the Warranty period, Quantum AV will, at its discretion:

Repair the product,

Replace the product with a new or refurbished item of equal specification, or

Provide an alternative remedy where repair or replacement is not feasible.
3.2 Replacement units may be new, equivalent, or reconditioned, depending on availability.
3.3 All repair work will be carried out by authorised service providers using genuine or approved parts.
4. Exclusions
The Warranty does not cover:
4.1 Damage resulting from accidental impact, misuse, abuse, improper installation, power surges, environmental damage, liquid damage, commercial use or neglect.
4.2 Cosmetic wear, including scratches, dents, faded finishes, or other non-functional issues.
4.3 Loss, theft, or damage caused by external events such as fire, flood, or environmental hazards.
4.4 Consumables and accessories (e.g. batteries, remote controls, cables, lamps, cartridges).
4.5 Damage arising from unauthorised servicing, modification, or use of non-approved components.
4.6 Costs relating to removal, reinstallation, transportation, or packaging unless expressly agreed in writing.
5. Customer Responsibilities
5.1 Customers must retain proof of purchase for any warranty claim.
5.2 Products must be returned with all provided accessories and, where possible, original packaging.
5.3 Customers must promptly report faults to Quantum AV and follow reasonable diagnostic processes to confirm the issue.
5.4 Quantum AV may refuse a claim if the product shows signs of misuse or tampering.
6. Claim Procedure
6.1 To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must contact Quantum AV support and provide:

Order number or invoice,

Description of the fault,
-
Supporting evidence (photos, videos, etc.),
-
Serial number where applicable.
6.2 Upon validation, Quantum AV will arrange appropriate next steps, including collection, repair, replacement, or refund (partial or full).
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 Quantum AV shall not be liable for:

Loss of data, software, or digital content,
-
Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses,
-
Loss of business, profits, or earnings.
7.2 This Warranty does not extend or renew if a repair or replacement is made.
8. Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects the customer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK legislation.
9. Amendments
Quantum AV reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Extended Warranty at any time. Any changes will not affect products already purchased with a valid Warranty.
