A Proper Demonstration Space for Hi-Fi and Home Cinema
Our Catterick Garrison showroom includes a purpose-built room with acoustic treatment and a Dolby Atmos 7.2.4 cinema system based around Monitor Audio in-wall and in-ceiling architectural speakers. It has been designed to give customers a proper sense of how brilliant a well-positioned home cinema can sound.
Whether you are planning a full cinema room, upgrading from a soundbar, building your first stereo system, or just trying to work out what all the fuss is about, the showroom gives you somewhere to hear the difference for yourself.
Why Visit a Showroom?
Buying hi-fi and AV equipment online is convenient, but it can also become a bit of a guessing game. Specifications are useful and reviews can help, but none of them tell you exactly how a system will feel in the room.
At the showroom, you can compare products, ask questions, and get advice based on how you actually use your system.
That might mean finding the right pair of speakers for a living room. It might mean working out whether a stereo amplifier or streaming amplifier makes more sense. It might mean planning a Dolby Atmos cinema system from scratch. Or it might just mean finally hearing the product you've been looking at online for the last three weeks.
Walk-Ins Welcome, Appointments Recommended
Visitors are welcome during opening hours, but if you want a proper demonstration, booking ahead is recommended. That way we can make sure the room is ready, the right products are available where possible, and you're not stuck listening to whatever happened to be wired up five minutes before you arrived.
If you're travelling to see us, or you have a specific system in mind, it is worth getting in touch first.
From First Systems to Serious Setups
The showroom is here for more than just high-end home cinema. We can help with:
- First hi-fi systems
- Stereo speaker and amplifier matching
- Music streaming setups
- Turntable-friendly systems
- Subwoofer advice
- Dolby Atmos and surround sound systems
- Architectural speakers
- Home cinema planning
- Upgrade advice
- Part-exchange and trade-in options where available
The aim is not to baffle you with jargon. The aim is to help you make a better decision.
Quantum AV, Now Online and In-Store
Quantum AV has been part of the UK specialist hi-fi and home cinema scene since 2007, and this new showroom brings the business into its next phase. We continue to trade nationally online, while offering customers in North Yorkshire and beyond a dedicated place to experience products in person.
So, whether you're buying online, phoning for advice, or visiting the showroom, the idea is the same: great products, sensible advice, and confidence in your decision.
