48Gbps Bandwidth for 8K and 4K Gaming

With a bandwidth of 48Gb/s — three times the 16Gb/s ceiling of HDMI 2.0 — the Performance Ultra High Speed HDMI supports uncompressed 8K video at 60Hz (4:2:0) and uncompressed 4K at 120Hz. For compressed signals, it can handle resolutions up to 10K at 120Hz. HDMI 2.1 compliance also brings Dynamic HDR, Wide Colour Gamut, and eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel) for lossless surround sound passthrough from your television to an AV receiver or soundbar. HDCP 2.2 ensures secure playback of protected content.

99.999% Oxygen Free Copper

QED uses 99.999% Oxygen Free Copper conductors to deliver maximum detail and minimum distortion. The cable is triple-shielded to reduce electromagnetic radiation and protect against interference from wireless networks, Bluetooth devices, and mobile phones — an increasingly important consideration in modern entertainment systems where multiple wireless protocols operate in close proximity.

eFlex Design

The Performance Ultra High Speed HDMI uses QED’s eFlex construction with an Ultra Matte PVC jacket, achieving a maximum diameter of just 6.3mm at 1.5m. This thin, flexible profile is designed specifically for modern slim televisions where a bulky cable would be impractical, making it easy to route around corners and through tight gaps behind wall-mounted displays.
