The QED Performance J2P Graphite is a 3.5mm jack to RCA phono interconnect cable for connecting portable devices, laptops, smartphones, and tablets to amplifiers, AV receivers, and soundbars. It uses a co-axial construction with 99.999% oxygen-free copper conductors.
Engineering
The J2P Graphite uses a co-axial design with an electrostatic screen, providing noise immunity from RF and electromagnetic interference. The conductors are manufactured from 99.999% oxygen-free copper with a low-density polyethylene dielectric to minimise signal loss due to capacitance. The ultra-flexible eFLEX cordage uses a matte black PVC jacket that remains supple and resists kinking during everyday use.
Terminations are a stepped 3.5mm stereo jack plug at one end — the stepped profile allows connection even when the source device is housed in a protective case — and two 24k gold-plated RCA phono plugs at the other. Both the 3.5mm jack and the RCA plugs feature ergonomically sculpted zinc-plated alloy barrels for ease of insertion and removal. Gold plating on all connectors ensures a low-resistance, corrosion-resistant contact.
