Construction

At the core of the Performance Headphone Extension Cable are 99.999% oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors, providing a low-resistance signal path that preserves detail and dynamics over the full cable length. The conductors are arranged in a quasi-balanced twisted-pair geometry specifically engineered to minimise crosstalk between the left and right audio channels — an important consideration for headphone cables where channel separation directly affects stereo imaging.

An aluminium/Mylar wrap provides 100% electrostatic shielding, rejecting interference from nearby mains cables and electronic devices. The dielectric is low-density polyethylene (LDPE), chosen for its low capacitance characteristics.
