The QED Connect Speaker Cable sits at the entry point of QED’s Connect range — the most accessible tier in a portfolio that stretches from Connect up through Performance, Reference, and Signature. Designed for straightforward, reliable connectivity rather than audiophile elaboration, it delivers a competent link between amplifier and loudspeaker using the cable engineering principles QED has refined since 1973.
Construction
Each conductor is drawn from 99.99% oxygen-free copper (OFC) in a 37-strand configuration. The conductors are enclosed in a satin black PVC jacket with a 2.5mm outer diameter — slim enough to route cleanly behind furniture or along skirting boards without requiring trunking.
Termination
The Connect Speaker Cable is supplied with Eye Wire termination: bare conductors prepared for direct insertion into binding post holes, banana-plug sockets, or spring clip terminals. This format is universally compatible with all speaker terminal types commonly found on integrated amplifiers, AV receivers, and loudspeakers.
