Stereo In-Ceiling Audio With a Discreet Footprint
The Q Acoustics QI65ST is a 6.5-inch in-ceiling stereo speaker that delivers two-channel audio through a single ceiling cut-out — ideal for multi-room audio installations where space and aesthetics matter. Designed as part of Q Acoustics’ Q Install range, it combines a swivel-mount 19mm tweeter with a 6.5-inch woofer to reproduce the full stereo image from a single unit, eliminating the need for separate left and right speaker cut-outs in each zone.
With a maximum rear depth of just 84mm and a cut-out size of 203mm, the QI65ST fits into standard ceiling voids and integrates cleanly into plastered or dryliner ceilings. The magnetic grille system accommodates both square and circular grille shapes — this listing includes the square grille. The circular grille version is available separately as QA-QI1160.
The speaker’s rated impedance of 8 ohms and 15–60W programme power handling make it compatible with the majority of multi-room amplifiers and whole-home audio systems.
