The Q Acoustics Concept 30 is a premium bookshelf speaker that brings acoustic technology and design cues from the flagship Concept 300 to a more accessible price point. Featuring Gelcore™ cabinet construction — a non-setting gel sandwiched between two layers of the cabinet wall — high-frequency vibrations from the drivers are effectively dissipated as heat, resulting in a cleaner, more accurate sound.
P2P™ (Point to Point) internal bracing reinforces the cabinet at precise points identified through Finite Element Analysis and laser interferometry, keeping low-frequency reverberations under tight control. The driver assembly is mounted to the front aluminium baffle via pretensioned studs for a correct acoustic seal and dampened vibrations. A hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated tweeter is protected from cabinet resonances, while the crossover is mounted on an isolation base to reduce electromagnetic interference.
Bi-wire terminals on the rear panel allow separate cabling for high and low frequencies, reducing intermodulation distortion. Magnetic grilles attach without visible lugs, maintaining a clean aesthetic whether fitted or removed. The Concept 30 is equally at home in a dedicated two-channel system or as part of a Concept series home cinema setup.
