The Q Acoustics 3090Ci is a dedicated centre channel speaker developed as the natural companion to the 3000i series. It uses twin 100mm (4") mid/bass drivers flanking a 22mm (0.9") decoupled tweeter — the same high-frequency de-coupler technology applied across the full 3000i range. By mechanically isolating the tweeter from woofer vibrations, the design eliminates the interference that degrades treble clarity, resulting in more precise dialogue and crisper detail on screen.
The enclosure uses P2P (Point-to-Point) internal bracing for structural rigidity, and the sealed-box design eliminates port noise entirely, giving clean, controlled bass reproduction ideal for dialogue-heavy centre channel duties. The conventional terminal panel cut-out has been removed, improving cabinet integrity and enabling the new low-profile recessed binding posts — a cleaner finish inside an AV rack.
At 430mm wide, the 3090Ci matches the width of most amplifiers and AV receivers, so it fits neatly into dedicated AV furniture. It can be shelf- or cabinet-mounted on its pre-fitted rubber feet, or wall-mounted using the optional Q Acoustics WB50 bracket.
