The Q Acoustics 3050c 5.1 Cinema Pack is a complete home cinema speaker system built from the 3000c series, the successor to the hugely popular 3000i range and Q Acoustics' entry point into a modern audiophile system. The pack comprises a pair of 3050c floorstanding speakers for the front left and right channels, a 3090c centre channel speaker for clear dialogue, a pair of compact 3010c bookshelf speakers for the surround channels, and a 3060S active subwoofer for deep, controlled bass. This version is finished in Satin White, one of two finishes offered for the pack to match the subwoofer colours, with Satin Black as the alternative. Together, the five speakers and subwoofer deliver a cohesive and immersive 5.1 surround sound experience that performs well beyond its class.
Front Speakers: 3050c Floorstanders
The 3050c floorstanders form the foundation of this system, each housing two 142mm C3 (Continuous Curved Cone) bass/mid drivers and a 22mm tweeter. With a frequency response reaching down to 42Hz and a sensitivity of 90dB, they deliver powerful, room-filling sound with ease. P2P (Point to Point) internal bracing and HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser) tubes work together to nullify internal pressure and unwanted standing waves, ensuring a clean, accurate presentation.
Centre Channel: 3090c
Dialogue clarity is handled by the 3090c centre speaker, which pairs two 101mm C3 drivers with a 22mm tweeter in a compact enclosure. Its 92dB sensitivity ensures it keeps pace with the floorstanders effortlessly, anchoring voices and effects to the screen with precision.
Surround Speakers: 3010c
The 3010c bookshelf speakers provide the surround channels. Each features a single 101mm C3 driver and a 22mm tweeter, delivering a frequency response from 60Hz to 30kHz. Their compact dimensions make them easy to position on shelves, on Q Acoustics' FS50 stands or on WB50 wall brackets without compromising on the enveloping surround effect.
Subwoofer: 3060S
Completing the system, the 3060S subwoofer uses a 200mm bass driver powered by a built-in 150W Class D amplifier. Its slim, infinite baffle cabinet is just 150mm deep and reaches down to 35Hz, making it straightforward to integrate into any living room.
Shared Technology
Every speaker in the 3000c range benefits from Q Acoustics' proprietary technologies. The C3 Continuous Curved Cone drivers, first introduced in the 5000 series, combine the bass performance of a traditional straight conic cone with the mid and high frequency control of a flared cone. P2P bracing supports the parts of each enclosure that need to be stiffened, making the cabinets exceptionally rigid and improving the focus of the stereo image. The hermetically sealed tweeters are mechanically isolated from the baffle, preventing internal pressure modulations from the cabinet and the adjacent mid/bass driver from affecting high-frequency performance. A one-piece driver trim, in satin chrome on the white finish, completes the clean, contemporary look.
