The Q Acoustics 3010c is the most compact bookshelf speaker in the 3000c Generation C range — a ground-up redesign of the long-running 3000 series that introduces the brand’s C³ (Continuous Curved Cone™) driver technology at an entry-level price point. Sitting below the larger 3020c standmount and 3050c floorstander, the 3010c is engineered for rooms where space is limited but sound quality cannot be compromised.

C³ Continuous Curved Cone Driver

At the heart of the 3010c is a 101mm mid/bass driver built around Q Acoustics’ proprietary C³ Continuous Curved Cone profile. This geometry combines the advantages of traditional straight conic and flared cone designs: excellent dispersion characteristics alongside a well-controlled frequency response, enabling smoother integration with the tweeter through the crossover region. The driver uses substantial magnets coupled to the voice coils, driving the pole plate and yoke close to saturation to reduce flux modulation and harmonic distortion.

Isolated Tweeter

The 22mm high-frequency driver is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the baffle — effectively floating free of the cabinet structure. This prevents pressure modulation from the mid/bass driver from reaching the tweeter diaphragm. An internal vented chamber behind the tweeter reduces distortion and allows a lower crossover point of 3.1kHz, ensuring seamless integration between the two drivers.

P2P™ Braced Cabinet

The 3010c’s 4.5-litre enclosure uses Q Acoustics’ P2P (Point to Point) bracing, which selectively stiffens the parts of the cabinet that are most prone to resonance. The result is an exceptionally rigid structure with minimal low-end reverberation, improving stereo imaging and soundstage accuracy. The cabinet is finished with satin metallic driver trims that complement the contemporary aesthetic of the Generation C range.

Compact, Versatile Design

Measuring just 254 × 155 × 251mm and weighing 4.4kg per speaker, the 3010c is small enough to sit on a bookshelf, desktop, or wall bracket. Q Acoustics recommends amplifier power between 15W and 80W, and the 6Ω nominal impedance (3.7Ω minimum) makes it a straightforward load for most integrated amplifiers. Foam bungs and removable speaker grilles are included in the box.
