The Wharfedale IW-1 Diamond is a 2-way in-wall speaker from the Diamond IW range, designed to be flush-mounted into a wall or ceiling cavity for a completely hidden, architectural installation. Building on Wharfedale’s long-standing expertise in home cinema speaker design, the IW series allows you to create a truly immersive surround-sound environment without the visual intrusion of conventional speakers.
The IW-1 Diamond pairs a 6.5-inch (150mm) advanced polypropylene-cone bass/midrange driver with a 1-inch (25mm) textile dome tweeter, crossed over at 2.6kHz. The closed-box design ensures controlled bass extension to 75Hz, making it well-suited as a surround or infill channel in multi-channel home cinema setups. The white grille finish blends cleanly into plasterwork and is standard for in-wall installations.
