The Polk Audio Reserve R700 floorstanding speakers deliver bold sound, performing equally well with both two-channel stereo and home cinema surround sound setups. A 25mm Pinnacle dome tweeter provides crisp highs for detail, while the 165mm Turbine cone delivers clarity in the all-important midrange, combining a foam core with moulded turbine geometry to dramatically improve stiffness and damping without adding extra weight.

For powerful, distortion-free low frequencies, the Reserve R700 uses two 200mm polypropylene woofers combined with the Power Port 2.0, designed to smooth the flow of air exiting the cabinet. With X-Port technology, the Reserve R700 features specially tuned pipes to direct unwanted resonances away from the drivers for clean, loud bass.

The Polk Audio Reserve cabinets use precisely engineered braces and internal enclosures to minimise standing waves and eliminate unwanted resonances. Laser Doppler Vibrometer designed point-to-point bracing, combined with Cabinet Resonance Control, eliminates any unwanted panel resonance. Magnetic, acoustically transparent grilles are provided.
