Pink Floyd - Animals [Gatefold] (LP) Vinyl

Animals is a Pink Floyd studio album first released in the UK in January 1977. This edition is the 2016 remaster, pressed on 180g heavyweight vinyl and presented in the original gatefold sleeve.

The album runs to five tracks across two sides, opening and closing with the two short parts of Pigs on the Wing that frame the three extended pieces Dogs, Pigs (Three Different Ones) and Sheep.

Remastered from the original analogue tapes by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman, and issued on Pink Floyd Records under catalogue number PFRLP10.

Sleeve

The cover carries the album's celebrated image of a pig floating between the chimneys of Battersea Power Station, with the full lyrics printed inside the gatefold.
