The Peerless Slimline HDMI Cable sits within Peerless-AV’s compact connectivity range, designed specifically for installations where standard HDMI cables are too bulky. With a 4mm diameter microcable construction, the Slimline is significantly thinner than a typical 8mm round HDMI cable, allowing wall-mounted televisions and rack-installed AV equipment to sit as close to the wall as possible with minimal cable protrusion.
Construction & Materials
The cable uses PCOFC (Pure Crystal Oxygen Free Copper) conductors, chosen for their low-resistance signal path and resistance to interference. The connectors feature 24k hard gold-plated contacts, which improve signal transfer reliability and long-term durability by resisting oxidation at the connection points.
Performance
Compliant with the High Speed HDMI with Ethernet standard, the Slimline cable supports UltraHD (4K) image resolutions at 60fps, 32-channel audio, Dual View, 21:9 aspect ratios, and YCbCr 4:2:0 colour spaces. Integrated HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC) support allows the cable to carry a network connection alongside audio and video, reducing the need for a separate Ethernet run to the display.
