Peerless PRG Precision Gear Projector Mount (Black)

The Peerless PRG Precision Gear projector mount sits within Peerless-AV’s professional-grade ceiling mount range, above the simpler PRS universal mount and below the PRGS model which adds a security fastener option. Designed for projectors weighing up to 22 kg, the PRG uses a patent-pending precision gear mechanism that delivers exact tilt and roll positioning through two dedicated adjustment knobs.

Precision Gear Adjustment

The core of the PRG is its geared adjustment system. Two knobs control tilt (±20°) and roll (±10°) independently, allowing precise image alignment with a simple turn. Each knob can be operated with a Phillips screwdriver or extended by hand for tool-less adjustment. Once the desired position is set, the gear mechanism locks the alignment in place — it will not shift during projector maintenance, lamp replacement, or due to vibration.

Spider Universal Adapter Plate

The included Spider universal adapter plate extends from 216 mm to 448 mm, accommodating the vast majority of projector mounting patterns without requiring a model-specific adapter. Four arms adjust independently to match the projector’s threaded inserts, and the plate connects to the gear head via a quick-release mechanism for easy projector servicing.

Installation & Cable Management

The PRG mounts directly to a wood joist or concrete ceiling for flush installation, with horizontal wrench access slots that speed up the process. When flush-mounted, swivel is limited to ±15°; adding an extension column (sold separately) opens the full 360° of rotation. Cables route through the mount body and out of sight, keeping the installation clean. Pre-installed security screws provide optional tilt and roll locking to prevent tampering in public or shared spaces.
