The Peerless Delta DE-HD02 is a High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet from the Delta range, Peerless's mid-tier cable series sitting between the entry-level Alpha and the premium Sigma lines. Certified to the HDMI 1.4 standard, it supports image resolutions up to 4K x 2K (2160p) at 24Hz and is fully compatible with 3DTV at stereo 1080p. An integrated 100Mbps Ethernet Channel and Audio Return Channel are built in, reducing the need for additional cables between a TV with an integrated receiver and an amplifier.
Construction
The Delta HDMI cable uses PCOFC (Pure Copper Ohno Continuous Cast) oxygen-free conductors to minimise signal loss and distortion. A foamed polyethylene dielectric separates the conductors, and dual-layer shielding combines a braided PCOFC outer screen with an aluminium foil inner screen for protection against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. The connectors feature 24K gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transfer, and a PVC outer jacket provides durability.
Features
In addition to high-definition video, the cable supports increased colour depth for digital cameras and the Audio Return Channel, which eliminates the need for a separate audio cable between a compatible TV and amplifier. The integrated Ethernet Channel allows HDMI-connected devices to share an internet connection without requiring additional Ethernet cabling.
