The CI-UNITI 102 is Naim's first all-in-one streaming amplifier built specifically for the custom install market, sitting at the heart of the company's CI Series alongside the matching CI-NAP 108 power amplifier. It brings Naim's renowned streaming platform and musicality into a compact, rack-friendly chassis designed to disappear discreetly into a dedicated equipment rack while driving a pair of loudspeakers in a single room or feeding additional zones.
Streaming platform
Built on Naim's established streaming engine, the CI-UNITI 102 offers native support for TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, Internet Radio, Google Chromecast and Apple AirPlay 2, along with UPnP playback of locally stored libraries and aptX Bluetooth. High-resolution files are supported up to 32-bit/384kHz over UPnP, so there is no compromise in audio quality despite the slimline enclosure.
Rack mounting and integration
At just 44.5mm tall the unit occupies a single rack unit, and supplied rack ears allow it to be screwed neatly into a standard 19-inch rack. Setup and management are handled through Naim's Focal and Naim Manager software and the Focal and Naim control app, with ready-made drivers for the major home automation platforms including Crestron, Control4, RTI, Savant and Elan.
Amplification and outputs
An integrated power amplifier delivers 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms to drive a stereo pair directly, while two independent stereo RCA outputs can feed subwoofers or be used to extend audio into a separate sub-zone. A 12V trigger output provides remote standby control of a partnering CI-NAP 108 power amplifier, making it simple to build larger multi-room and multi-zone installations.
