Muddy Waters - I'm Ready [Pink] (LP) Vinyl

I'm Ready is Muddy Waters' 1978 album for Blue Sky, one of the most essential works towards the end of his career. It was produced by Johnny Winter and followed Hard Again, their first collaboration, and was immediately hailed as a blues classic. This Music On Vinyl reissue presents it on 180 gram audiophile vinyl in a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies, pressed on pink coloured vinyl.

The Album

The collaboration between Winter and Waters resulted in three albums, which blues fans describe as a unique combination that showcased Muddy Waters' rawness and years of experience to perfection. The impressive roster of featured artists included "Pine Top" Perkins on piano and Walter Horton on the harmonica, making it a dream late-career collaboration.
