Monitor Audio Bronze AMS 7G Dolby Atmos Speakers Walnut (Pair)

The Monitor Audio Bronze AMS 7G is a Dolby Atmos enabled height channel speaker from the seventh generation of Monitor Audio’s Bronze Series. Sitting alongside the Bronze 50 7G, Bronze 300 7G, Bronze Centre 7G, and Bronze On-Wall 7G, the AMS completes the range by adding immersive overhead sound to a Bronze-based home cinema system. Sold as a pair, the Bronze AMS 7G is designed to either wall-mount via rear keyhole fixings or sit atop compatible speakers such as the Bronze 50 7G or Bronze 300 7G, firing sound upward to create the overhead Atmos layer.

Driver Technology

The Bronze AMS 7G uses a two-way driver complement: a single 4-inch (100mm) C-CAM bass/mid driver paired with a 25mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter. C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) is Monitor Audio’s signature cone material, developed from aerospace technology to deliver a stiff, lightweight diaphragm with excellent internal damping. For the 7G generation, the bass/mid driver features a progressive spider design that provides smoother, more controlled excursion linearity for tighter bass response.

Tweeter and Waveguide

The C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter in the 7G generation is thinner, lighter, and more rigid than its 6th generation predecessor. It is paired with the UD (Uniform Dispersion) Waveguide II, an updated design that improves time alignment between the tweeter and mid/bass driver and allows a lower crossover frequency for wider directivity. The tweeter grille uses an aluminium-etched hexagonal pattern for acoustic transparency.

Flexible Mounting

The Bronze AMS 7G is designed for flexible installation. Rear keyhole fixings allow wall mounting high above your main speakers for a dedicated height channel. Recessed binding post terminals keep the fit as flush as possible against the wall. Alternatively, rubber feet on the base allow the AMS to sit securely on top of the Bronze 50 7G or Bronze 300 7G, firing upward to bounce Atmos effects off the ceiling. As well as Dolby Atmos, the speaker supports DTS:X and Auro-3D height channel formats.

Cabinet Design

The sealed enclosure measures 173 × 185 × 302mm and weighs 3.1kg per speaker. The compact, sealed-box design suits both wall-mounting and on-top placement without the port noise or placement sensitivity of a reflex enclosure. Available in Black, Walnut, and White finishes to match the rest of the Bronze 7G family.
