Monitor Audio Bronze 7G On Wall Speaker White (Single)

The Monitor Audio Bronze On-Wall 7G is part of the seventh-generation Bronze Series — Monitor Audio’s most accessible loudspeaker range, sitting below the Silver and Gold lines. Designed for discreet wall mounting, the On-Wall 7G serves as a surround, side, or front LCR channel in a home cinema system, and pairs seamlessly with other Bronze 7G models including the Bronze 300 floorstanders, Bronze 50 bookshelf speakers, Bronze C centre channel, and Bronze AMS Dolby Atmos modules.

Driver Technology

The On-Wall 7G is a two-way design built around a 6-inch C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) bass-mid driver paired with a 25mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter fitted with Monitor Audio’s UD (Uniform Dispersion) waveguide. The C-CAM cone material provides an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, allowing the driver to respond quickly with articulate vocals and well-defined bass. The oversized magnet and voice coil assembly delivers bass performance that belies the speaker’s slim 135mm depth.

Tweeter and Crossover

The gold dome tweeter is an all-new design for the 7G generation, delivering smooth, detailed high-frequency reproduction up to 30 kHz. The UD waveguide ensures even off-axis dispersion, maintaining tonal consistency across a wide listening area — particularly important for surround duty where listeners may not be sitting directly on-axis. The crossover hands off between the bass-mid driver and tweeter at 3.0 kHz.

Cabinet Construction

For the 7G generation, Monitor Audio upgraded the cabinet design with plywood front baffles, improving rigidity and providing a solid mounting platform for the drivers. The result is reduced cabinet resonance and lower distortion. Bass loading uses Monitor Audio’s HiVe II (High Velocity, Low Noise) port technology, tuned to 47 Hz, which smooths airflow and reduces port turbulence at high output levels. The white finish features exposed plywood at the sides for contrast, while the black and walnut variants use a black-stained real wood veneer baffle.

Installation and Flexibility

At 465 × 300 × 135mm and 7 kg, the Bronze On-Wall 7G is slim enough to sit flush against a wall without dominating the room. It can be used as a rear or side surround channel, or placed across the front of a system in LCR format for a completely wall-mounted cinema setup. With a sensitivity of 88 dB and a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms (minimum 4.7 Ohms at 17 kHz), the On-Wall 7G is an easy load for any AV receiver, with Monitor Audio recommending amplifier power of 30–100 W into 8 Ohms or 50–200 W into 4 Ohms.
