Bronze 50 Front Speakers

The Bronze 50 is a two-way bookshelf design housing a 1-inch (25mm) C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter with Uniform Dispersion (UD) Waveguide and a 5½-inch C-CAM mid-bass driver. C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) is Monitor Audio's proprietary cone material, prized for its combination of low mass and high rigidity. The UD Waveguide is engineered for even sound dispersion and improved time alignment, while Damped Concentric Mode (DCM) technology on the mid-bass driver delivers a more accurate time response. The Bronze 50 has a rated sensitivity of 85dB and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms (4.4 ohms minimum), with a recommended amplifier power of 20–80 watts.

Bronze C150 Centre Speaker

The C150 centre channel uses the same 1-inch C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter flanked by two 5½-inch C-CAM mid-bass drivers in a sealed cabinet design. This dual-driver configuration provides enhanced vocal clarity and wider horizontal dispersion across the listening area, ensuring dialogue remains anchored to the screen regardless of seating position.

Bronze FX 6G Surround Speakers

The Bronze FX rear speakers feature two 25mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeters with UD Waveguide and a single 5½-inch C-CAM mid-bass driver. Designed for wall mounting with included keyhole mounts, the FX incorporates a switchable dipole/bipole configuration, allowing the surround field to be tuned between diffused and direct sound depending on the room and listener preference. Recessed terminals and angled baffles maintain a discreet profile against the wall.

Bronze W10 6G Subwoofer

The Bronze W10 is a sealed-cabinet powered subwoofer built around a 10-inch long-throw C-CAM bass driver and a 10-inch passive Auxiliary Bass Radiator (ABR). The ABR uses energy within the cabinet to reinforce low-frequency output without the port noise associated with reflex designs. A 220-watt Class-D amplifier provides tight control over the bass driver. Three preset EQ modes — Music, Movie, and Impact — simplify setup: Movie mode delivers a relatively flat response down to 35Hz; Music mode extends lower to around 30Hz at a slightly reduced level; Impact mode adds a 3dB boost for more visceral effects.

Construction & Design

All cabinets in the Bronze 6G range use 21/15mm (baffle/cabinet) MDF construction with internal bracing to reduce panel vibration and colouration. Pureflow silver-plated oxygen-free copper internal cabling connects the drivers to high-quality gold-plated binding post terminals. Each speaker is supplied with an acoustically transparent hexagonal-pattern magnetic grille featuring a contrasting baffle design that complements the cabinet finish.
