Miles Davis - Kind of Blue [2015 Remaster] (LP) Vinyl

Kind of Blue is Miles Davis's landmark 1959 album and one of the most celebrated recordings in jazz history. This is the vinyl LP edition, remastered and reissued in 2015 by Columbia and Legacy (Sony Music).

The album is a cornerstone of modal jazz, built around scales and modes rather than dense chord progressions, giving the musicians greater freedom to improvise. It was recorded by an exceptional ensemble led by Miles Davis on trumpet, with Julian "Cannonball" Adderley on alto saxophone, John Coltrane on tenor saxophone, Bill Evans on piano (Wynton Kelly plays on Freddie Freeloader), Paul Chambers on double bass and Jimmy Cobb on drums.
