The TDAI-2210 is Lyngdorf Audio's compact streaming integrated amplifier, built around the company's True Digital Amplifier Integrated platform. It brings Lyngdorf's fully digital amplification, RoomPerfect room calibration and a built-in streaming player together in a single half-width chassis designed to sit easily in a living space or AV cabinet.
Digital Amplification
TDAI stands for True Digital Amplifier Integrated. The amplification stage is 100% digital, with no analogue conversion in the signal path right up to the speaker outputs. The digital signal drives the speakers directly, while the volume control adjusts gain in the output stage rather than attenuating an analogue signal. Lyngdorf states that this approach removes several analogue components and signal paths that would otherwise introduce noise, hiss, crosstalk and distortion. The amplifier delivers 2 x 210 watts into 4 ohms and 2 x 105 watts into 8 ohms, with a maximum output current of 35A per channel.
RoomPerfect Calibration
RoomPerfect is Lyngdorf's room correction system. Using the supplied measurement microphone, it addresses room acoustic issues such as exaggerated, weak or uneven bass and diffuse imaging, correcting them in the digital domain so the loudspeakers can perform at their best. Voicings and bass and treble tone controls allow further tailoring of the sound, and a subsonic filter (24 dB/octave at 18 Hz) is included.
Streaming and Connectivity
An integrated streaming player supports Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Roon Ready, Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2, DLNA, internet radio via airable, local file playback over USB and Bluetooth (BLE), and works with Audirvana. Digital inputs include three coaxial, two optical, one USB-C and one HDMI 2.1 input with eARC, alongside two single-ended RCA analogue inputs and an XLR microphone input for RoomPerfect. Outputs comprise a single-ended RCA, a balanced XLR, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a coaxial digital output. The amplifier can be expanded with an optional High-End Analog module, adding an MM phono stage and further RCA and XLR inputs, and an optional HDMI 2.1 module providing additional HDMI inputs and an output with eARC/ARC and CEC.
Control and Build
A full-colour touchscreen with a glass surface provides icon-based control for setup, feature exploration and streaming, supplemented by a web interface, iOS and Android remote apps, IP control, HDMI CEC and an infrared remote. Each unit is designed and assembled at Lyngdorf Audio in Denmark and passes a 24-hour test with all inputs and outputs in use and both channels driven under load before it leaves the factory.
