GNX is Kendrick Lamar's 2024 album, released on 22 November 2024 by pgLang under exclusive licence to Interscope Records. It runs to twelve tracks and brings in a wide cast of guests: SZA appears on both Luther and Gloria, Dody6 on Hey Now, Lefty Gunplay on TV Off, Roddy Ricch, Siete7x and Wallie The Sensei on Dodger Blue, AzChike on Peekaboo, and Hitta J3, Peysoh and YoungThreat on the title track.
The album was recorded at Electric Lady Studios, Conway Studios, Tamarind in Los Angeles, Glenwood Place Studios, Sunset Sound, Pleasure Hill Recording and Pen Station, then mixed at Sharp Sonics, Electric Lady Studios and Tamarind. Sleeve and label artwork build on the Buick Grand National GNX that gives the record its name: Kendrick Lamar stands beside the car in black and white on the front, the car appears alone in profile on the rear, and its alloy wheel is reproduced as the side two label.
This Pressing
This is the European LP pressing, released on 7 February 2025 under catalogue number 00602475686750 on pgLang and Interscope Records. It is a single disc on black vinyl holding all twelve tracks, six to a side, with printed inner sleeves carrying the full track credits. Lacquers were cut at Sterling Sound by Joe Nino-Hernes, the album was mastered at Nomograph Mastering, and the record was pressed by GZ Media and made in the EU, with a Made in Czech Republic sticker on the rear sleeve. The sleeve carries a Parental Advisory explicit content notice.
