The Grandview Tab Tensioned Acoustic 16:9 shares the adjustable tab tensioning mechanism of the standard Tab Tensioned Home Theatre model, but uses an ISF-certified woven acoustic screen material in place of Multiply. This allows a loudspeaker or centre channel speaker to be placed directly behind the screen, keeping it out of sight while maintaining full audio transparency. It is the correct choice for true home cinema installations where screen placement must not compromise speaker positioning.
Screen Material
The woven acoustic fabric is ISF certified for colour accuracy and allows sound to pass through without significant attenuation or colouration. The adjustable tab tensioning system holds the material flat across its full area, preventing the gentle movement that can affect standard roller screens and which becomes visible with high-resolution projection.
Motor and Controls
An ultra-quiet tubular motor is used for deployment, with a built-in 12V trigger allowing automated operation in conjunction with a projector or AV receiver. IR remote control is included, and RS232 connectivity supports integration with control systems. The screen is rated for 4K Ultra HD use.
Installation
Ceiling or wall mount via the supplied brackets. Speakers placed behind the screen should be positioned so that the acoustic material is not touching the driver or grille. Available in 7ft, 8ft, 9ft and 10ft diagonal sizes.
