The Grandview Fixed Frame Home Theatre 16:9 is a permanently tensioned projection screen with an aluminium frame finished in black velvet. The screen material is stretched over steel tensioning bars at top and bottom, creating a drum-tight, optically flat surface that cannot move or billow during use. This is the correct choice for dedicated home cinema rooms where maximum image quality is the priority and the screen will remain deployed at all times.
Screen Material
The ISF-certified Multiply screen material is pre-seamed and stretched over a frame of steel tensioning bars, then fitted to the aluminium border frame. The result is a surface with no visible wrinkles, seams or distortion. The black velvet finish on the frame absorbs any overshoot from the projector and enhances perceived contrast at the image edges.
Frame Construction
The aluminium frame is covered in black velvet and assembles around the tensioned screen material. Long aluminium mounting brackets are included for secure attachment to stud walls. The fixed construction means there is no motor, no housing tube and no electrical installation required.
Installation
The screen ships flat-packed and assembles on-site. The long aluminium mounting brackets allow attachment to standard stud walls without specialist fixings. Available in 6ft through to 11ft diagonal sizes. ISF certified and rated for 4K Ultra HD projection.
