The Grandview Fixed Frame Acoustic 2.35:1 combines the widescreen 2.35:1 fixed frame format with an ISF-certified woven acoustic screen material. It is suited to high-end home cinema rooms where the full speaker array, including the centre channel, is positioned behind the screen for aesthetic and acoustic reasons, and where the projection system operates in anamorphic or constant-image-height mode.
Screen Material
The ISF-certified woven acoustic fabric allows audio to pass through without significant attenuation, enabling speaker placement directly behind the screen. The 2.35:1 format provides a full-width image for cinemascope content with no black bars, while the acoustic fabric ensures the audio system can be optimally positioned relative to the screen.
Frame Construction
Steel tensioning bars stretch the acoustic fabric across the aluminium frame, which is finished in black velvet. The fixed construction provides a permanently flat projection surface. Long aluminium mounting brackets are included for stud wall installation.
Installation
On-site assembly from flat-packed components; no power connection required. Available in 7ft through to 11ft diagonal sizes.
