The Grandview Fixed Frame 2.35:1 is a permanently tensioned fixed frame projection screen for use with anamorphic lens systems, constant-image-height projector setups, or projectors with a native 2.35:1 or 2.39:1 output mode. The wider-than-standard format eliminates the black bars at the top and bottom of the image when watching cinemascope content, delivering a full-screen experience for widescreen films.
Screen Material
The ISF-certified Multiply screen material is stretched across steel tensioning bars and fitted to the aluminium frame, providing a flat, optically stable surface. The 2.35:1 aspect ratio delivers a significantly wider image area than an equivalent 16:9 screen, making the most of projectors configured for constant-image-height or anamorphic lens operation.
Frame Construction
The aluminium frame is finished in black velvet to absorb any light overshoot beyond the image boundary. Steel tensioning bars ensure the material remains perfectly flat. Long aluminium mounting brackets are included for stud wall installation.
Installation
The screen ships flat-packed and assembles on-site. Compatible with any standard front-projection system; no power required. Available in 7ft through to 11ft diagonal sizes. ISF certified and rated for 4K Ultra HD use.
