The Grandview Electric Home Theatre 16:10 IP is a motorised roller screen in the less common 16:10 aspect ratio, suited to rooms where a 16:10 projector is in use or where the screen must fill a specific aperture. The IP variant adds Internet Protocol control via an end-cap connector, allowing integration into IP-based control systems alongside the standard 12V trigger, IR remote and RS232 interfaces.
Screen Material
The Multi-ply screen material is ISF certified, providing accurate colour reproduction for calibrated home cinema use. The 16:10 aspect ratio gives a slightly taller image area than a 16:9 screen of the same width, making it well suited to use with native 16:10 projectors such as those from Epson's range.
Motor and Controls
The ultra-quiet tubular motor deploys and retracts the screen with minimal noise. Control options include a built-in 12V trigger, IR remote control, RS232 and the IP (Internet Protocol) interface accessible via the end-cap connector. This makes the screen compatible with IP-based AV control platforms including Control4, Crestron and Savant.
Installation
The aluminium casing mounts to wall or ceiling using the supplied brackets. Available in 8ft and 9ft diagonal sizes.
