The Grado Headphone Extension Cable adds 4.5 metres of reach to any pair of headphones fitted with a standard 6.35mm (1/4 inch) jack. Constructed from the same high-quality wire used in Grado’s own headphone cables, it is designed to extend listening range without compromising signal integrity or audio quality.
Construction & Compatibility
Both ends are fitted with moulded 6.35mm (1/4 inch) connectors — a male plug at one end and a female socket at the other — providing a secure, low-resistance connection. The cable is built to the same standard as Grado’s headphone cables, using matching conductor materials throughout. It is compatible with Grado headphones as well as most other manufacturers’ headphones that use a 6.35mm jack.
Extended Reach
At 4.5 metres, the cable is well suited to home listening environments where the listener needs to sit further from the headphone amplifier or source equipment. For even greater reach, up to three cables can be piggybacked together, extending the total run to approximately 13.5 metres without signal degradation.
