Welcome to the Pleasuredome is the debut studio album from Frankie Goes to Hollywood, originally released in 1984 on the ZTT Records label. Produced by Trevor Horn, the album went straight to number one on the UK album chart with advance orders of over a million copies. This ground-breaking release helped define pop music production in the eighties, blending synth-pop, Hi-NRG, and rock influences into an ambitious double album.

The Album

Spanning four sides of vinyl across two LPs, Welcome to the Pleasuredome features the band's iconic singles Relax, Two Tribes, and The Power of Love alongside deep cuts that showcase the breadth of Trevor Horn's production. The album moves from the theatrical opening of Well... through the dance-floor energy of Relax and the Cold War tension of Two Tribes, to the tender balladry of The Power of Love.

This Reissue

This 2LP reissue is pressed on 180-gram audiophile-grade vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve, faithfully reproducing the original artwork. The heavyweight pressing delivers improved bass response and reduced surface noise compared to standard-weight vinyl.
