The Theva N°1 is the compact bookshelf model in Focal’s Theva range, designed to bring genuine high-fidelity sound into smaller listening spaces. Built around two exclusive Focal technologies, it delivers the refined performance the French manufacturer is known for in a discreet standmount cabinet.
Exclusive Focal drive units
A 6.5" Slatefiber midbass driver pairs with a 1" aluminium/magnesium inverted dome TNF tweeter. The Slatefiber cone, made in France from recycled carbon fibres and thermoplastic polymer, is prized for its dynamic, rich and balanced sound. The TNF tweeter, derived from Focal’s renowned Beryllium designs, uses a Poron shape-memory suspension and a waveguide to deliver smooth, clear treble and a stable soundstage.
Considered design and finish
Every detail is refined, from the inset front baffle and metallic surround rings to the magnetic fabric grille and slate-effect membrane. The black gloss finish blends easily into any interior. The cabinet measures just 39.2cm tall, allowing it to sit on a shelf or, ideally, on the dedicated Theva N°1 stand (available separately), which tilts the speaker for Time Alignment and centres the soundstage on the listener.
Hi-fi and home cinema ready
As a two-way bass reflex design with a frequency response of 58Hz to 28kHz, the Theva N°1 makes an accomplished stereo pair. It also integrates seamlessly with the wider Theva range, including the larger floorstanders, centre and surround speakers, for a complete home cinema system.
