The Focal Theva 7.1.2 Home Cinema Speaker Package is a complete, ready-to-install Dolby Atmos surround sound system built from Focal's Theva range. It brings together seven speakers and an active subwoofer to deliver a full 7.1.2 configuration, with the two overhead height channels generated by the upward-firing Atmos drivers integrated into the Theva N°3-D floorstanders. Every speaker is finished in gloss Black for a consistent, modern look across the room.
The Theva Range
Theva is Focal's entry-level home and home cinema loudspeaker range, sitting below the Aria line and replacing the previous Chora series. Designed and manufactured in France, every model shares the same core technologies: the Slatefiber cone, which combines recycled carbon fibres sandwiched in thermoplastic polymer for a stiff, light and well-damped diaphragm, and the 1-inch aluminium/magnesium inverted dome TNF tweeter, a Focal signature offering response up to 28 kHz. Sharing drivers across the range gives the whole package a seamless, tonally matched soundstage.
What's in the Package
This 7.1.2 package comprises a pair of Theva N°3-D floorstanders for the front left and right channels, a Theva Centre for dialogue, a pair of on-wall Theva Surround speakers, a pair of Theva N°1 bookshelf speakers to complete the surround array, and a Focal Sub 600P active subwoofer for low-frequency effects.
Front Channels and Atmos Height: Theva N°3-D
The front left and right channels are handled by the Theva N°3-D, a 3-way bass-reflex floorstander. Three 6.5-inch Slatefiber drivers cover bass and midrange, with the TNF tweeter handling the highs. Built into the top of each cabinet is a 5-inch upward-firing Dolby Atmos driver that reflects sound off the ceiling, providing the two height channels of the 7.1.2 layout without any additional module speakers. The N°3-D is rated at 91 dB sensitivity and 8 Ohms nominal impedance, and arrives on tilted plinths for time alignment.
Centre Channel: Theva Centre
The Theva Centre is a 2-way enclosure designed for clear, focused dialogue. Two 6.5-inch Slatefiber bass/midrange drivers flank the central TNF tweeter, matching the 91 dB sensitivity and 8 Ohm impedance of the front speakers for tonal consistency across the front soundstage.
Surround Channels: Theva Surround and Theva N°1
The surround array uses two speaker types. The on-wall Theva Surround is a shallow, angled 2-way enclosure with a 6.5-inch Slatefiber driver and TNF tweeter, designed to sit flush against the wall on its mounting bracket. The compact Theva N°1 bookshelf speaker adds a further pair of surround channels, using the same 6.5-inch Slatefiber driver and TNF tweeter in a small cabinet suited to stands or shelves. Together they form the four surround channels of the 7.1.2 configuration.
Bass: Sub 600P Subwoofer
Low-frequency effects are handled by the Focal Sub 600P, a sealed active subwoofer. A 600-watt Class D amplifier (300 watts RMS) drives a 30 cm Polyflex cone, reproducing deep, controlled bass down to 28 Hz. Its closed-box design avoids port noise, and adjustable crossover, phase and auto-standby make it easy to integrate into any AV system.
Build and Finish
Slatefiber cone technology is an exclusive Focal development used across the company's home, studio and in-car ranges. Every speaker in this package is finished in gloss Black with a brushed MDF cabinet and magnetic grille, giving a discreet, cohesive appearance throughout the room.
