The Focal Theva 5.1 Home Cinema Speaker Package brings together a complete, matched surround sound system from Focal's entry-level Theva range. Every speaker shares the same Slatefiber drivers and aluminium/magnesium inverted dome tweeters, so dialogue, music and effects stay tonally consistent as they move around the room. The package sits in the upper entry-level tier of Focal's home cinema line-up, above the Sib Evo, and is designed and manufactured in France.

Where it sits in the range
The Theva line was designed to combine stereo hi-fi and home cinema in a single installation. This 5.1 package pairs the reference Theva N°3-D floorstanders with the dedicated Theva Center and N°1 surrounds, giving a full-bodied surround system. Although the N°3-D floorstanders carry up-firing Atmos drivers, this package is configured as a traditional 5.1 layout; the 5.1.2 package adds the height channels to the processor.
Front channels: Theva N°3-D
The Theva N°3-D is a three-way bass-reflex floorstander fitted with two 16.5cm Slatefiber bass drivers, a 16.5cm Slatefiber midrange driver and a 25mm aluminium/magnesium inverted dome TNF tweeter. A separate sealed 13cm full-range driver fires upward from the top of the cabinet to reflect Dolby Atmos height information off the ceiling. Sensitivity is 91dB and recommended amplifier power is 40 to 250W.
Centre channel: Theva Center
The Theva Center is a two-way closed-box design using two 16.5cm Slatefiber mid-bass drivers either side of the central TNF tweeter. The symmetrical layout keeps dispersion even across a wide horizontal angle, which matters for a speaker placed below or above a screen, and the closed cabinet keeps dialogue tight and articulate.
Surround channels: Theva N°1
The Theva N°1 is a two-way bass-reflex bookshelf speaker pairing a 16.5cm Slatefiber mid-bass driver with the same 25mm TNF tweeter. Compact enough for stands, shelves or wall brackets, it shares the tonal character of the front channels so the soundfield stays seamless around the listening position.
Subwoofer: Sub 600P
The Focal Sub 600P is an active closed-box subwoofer driving a 30cm Polyflex woofer with a 600W Class D amplifier (300W RMS). It offers a variable crossover from 40 to 200Hz, switchable phase and an auto-standby mode, with stereo line and LFE inputs for connection to an AV receiver or processor. The sealed enclosure prioritises control and accuracy, reaching down to 26Hz at -6dB.
Driver technology and finish
Slatefiber cones, a composite of recycled carbon fibres set in thermoplastic polymer, give the whole range its lively, detailed and well-damped character. The 25mm aluminium/magnesium inverted dome TNF tweeter, developed from Focal's beryllium tweeter work, keeps treble smooth and natural across every channel. This package is finished in gloss black throughout, with the subwoofer supplied in black to match.
