The Focal Aria Evo X N°2 is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker and the central model in Focal's Aria Evo X range. Designed and manufactured in France, it pairs the brand's signature Flax cone technology with a refined cabinet and decoupling base to deliver a natural, balanced and dynamic sound across a wide range of music.
Flax driver technology
Three 6.5-inch Flax drivers handle the midrange and bass, using a sandwich cone of woven flax fibre between two layers of glass fibre. The result is a light yet rigid membrane that produces a very natural, well-defined sound with low colouration. The dedicated midrange driver focuses on vocal clarity, while two bass drivers deliver weight and impact.
TAM inverted dome tweeter
High frequencies are reproduced by a 1-inch aluminium-magnesium TAM inverted dome tweeter with an "M"-shaped profile. Mounted behind an integrated waveguide, it offers controlled directivity, fine detail and smooth, fatigue-free treble that integrates seamlessly with the midrange.
Cabinet and stability
The ultra-rigid MDF cabinet is finished with a leather-effect front panel and topped by a multi-port Powerflow bass-reflex system for added depth and impact. An aluminium-alloy base decouples the speaker from the floor, improving stability and keeping the sound clean and composed even at higher volumes.
Ideal placement
Suited to medium and larger listening rooms, the Aria Evo X N°2 rewards careful positioning with a spacious, room-filling soundstage. It works equally well as a stereo pair or as the front channels of a high-quality home cinema system.
