The FiiO Tiny B is a pocket-sized USB-C DAC and headphone amplifier that plugs directly into your device's USB-C port with no cable required. Its CNC-machined full-metal body houses both a 3.5mm single-ended and a 4.4mm balanced headphone output, making it one of the very few dongles at this price point to offer true balanced listening. Both outputs can be used simultaneously, so you can share a listening session with a friend without any adapters.
3.5mm and 4.4mm Balanced Outputs
The 4.4mm balanced output delivers a lower noise floor and increased separation compared with the single-ended socket, benefiting anyone using balanced-capable headphones or earphones. The 3.5mm output covers the majority of standard headphones and IEMs. With both sockets active at once, the Tiny B doubles as a convenient sharing solution for commutes, travel, or quiet listening alongside a partner.
High-Resolution Audio and DSP Control
The Tiny B is Hi-Res Audio certified and supports PCM decoding up to 384 kHz and 32-bit, along with DSD256 playback. A built-in DSP chip provides a 10-band parametric equaliser configurable through the FiiO Control app or a web interface, allowing custom EQ profiles to be created, saved, and shared via the cloud. An RGB indicator changes colour to show the active sample rate at a glance. The device also includes in-line controls and a microphone so you can take calls and manage playback without removing your headphones.
Plug-and-Play Across Multiple Platforms
The Tiny B uses UAC 2.0 as its primary audio class, with UAC 1.0 as a fallback for devices that require it. This wide compatibility covers Android smartphones and tablets, Windows and macOS computers, Linux systems, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5. A rotatable USB-C connector allows the dongle to sit flush whether the port faces up, down, or to the side. iOS users will need a Lightning-to-USB-C or appropriate adapter, sold separately.
