At the heart of the Tiny A is the SpaceTouch SPV4040 chipset, an integrated DAC and DSP chip capable of decoding PCM audio up to 384kHz/32-bit and DSD256. Whether you are streaming lossless audio from Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, or Amazon Music, or playing local high-resolution files, the Tiny A can handle it with ease. The built-in DSP also enables a full 10-band parametric EQ, adjustable via the FiiO Control app on Android or via the web interface on PC.
Listen and Charge Simultaneously
The standout feature of the Tiny A -- distinguishing it from the Tiny B -- is its USB-C passthrough charging port. This allows you to charge your device at the same time as listening to music, making it ideal for gaming sessions, long journeys, or any situation where battery life matters. The passthrough supports fast charging with up to 2A current and a maximum 20V voltage, meaning it can even charge laptops.
Compact and Well-Engineered
Machined from aluminium alloy using precise CNC processing, the Tiny A has a premium, solid feel in spite of its tiny size. An RGB sampling rate indicator light changes colour to show the current audio quality: blue for PCM at 48kHz or below, yellow for higher PCM rates, and green for DSD. The dongle also supports in-line controls and microphone input, so mic-enabled headsets work seamlessly for calls, gaming, or recording.
Wide Compatibility
The Tiny A supports both UAC2.0 and UAC1.0 protocols, ensuring compatibility with Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, and even gaming devices such as the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. No separate driver installation is needed for most devices.
