The SP3 BT sits within FiiO's compact desktop speaker line as the Bluetooth-enabled version of the SP3, a pair of fully active two-way speakers built around a high-strength die-cast aluminium cabinet. Each speaker compresses its electronics, amplification and drivers into a cabinet of just 2.35 litres, making the pair well suited to nearfield desktop listening.
Drivers and Amplification
Each speaker pairs a 3.5-inch carbon fibre woofer with a 1-inch silk dome tweeter, joined by a second-order active crossover at 3.4kHz. Class D amplification provides 30W per channel to the bass drivers and 10W per channel to the treble, with TI power amplifier stages handling output.
Wireless and Connectivity
Bluetooth is handled by a Qualcomm QCC5124 chip supporting LDAC, aptX Adaptive and AAC, with LDAC carrying audio up to 990kbps. Wired inputs cover USB Type-C, coaxial digital, optical digital and a 3.5mm analogue input, with an XLR-style cable linking the two speakers. The pair is Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Wireless Audio certified.
Setup and Features
A 10-band parametric EQ with adjustable Q and gain per band is available through the FiiO Control app, alongside customisable RGB status lighting. A standby wake-up function places the speakers into standby after 20 minutes without signal and wakes them automatically when input returns. Included rubber bases offer 0 degree and 7 degree elevation angles, and an RCA-to-3.5mm cable and power adapter are supplied.
