The FiiO K19 represents the pinnacle of FiiO's desktop engineering, combining a fully balanced DAC section with a high-current headphone amplifier stage in a single chassis. DAC Section
At the heart of the K19 sit two ESS ES9039SPRO DAC chips, configured for balanced channel processing. These 32-bit, 8-channel chips are designed for professional applications, supporting PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz via USB and native DSD streams up to DSD512. Clock accuracy is maintained by two ACCUSILICON AS318-B crystal oscillators operating at 45.1584MHz and 49.1520MHz, keeping jitter to an absolute minimum.
Amplifier Section
Headphone amplification is handled by eight THX AAA-788+ amplifier modules in a fully balanced configuration, delivering up to 8,000mW per channel into 32 ohms via the balanced 4.4mm and XLR4 outputs, and up to 2,300mW per channel into 32 ohms via the 6.35mm single-ended output. This level of output allows the K19 to drive any audiophile headphone, from high-sensitivity IEMs through to planar magnetic and dynamic headphones. A built-in ADI SHARC+ ADSP-21565 DSP from Analog Devices provides a 31-band parametric equaliser for precise tonal adjustment.
Connectivity
The K19 offers a comprehensive array of inputs and outputs. Digital inputs include two USB-C ports, optical TosLink, coaxial S/PDIF, and HDMI with ARC support. Headphone outputs cover a 6.35mm single-ended jack, a 4.4mm Pentaconn balanced jack, and an XLR4 balanced output. Analogue line outputs include stereo RCA and balanced XLR3. Digital outputs include optical TosLink, coaxial S/PDIF, and HDMI ARC. A bidirectional Bluetooth chip with QCC5125 SoC supports SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and LDAC for wireless operation. A 12V trigger output is included for system integration.
Power Supply and Build
The K19 incorporates a universal mains power supply accepting 100-240V AC, with an option for 15V DC input for flexible installation. A rear-mounted grounding switch addresses potential ground loop issues. The Silver finish is complemented by a robust chassis with a clean front panel layout featuring a 1.3-inch full-colour TFT display, volume control, and input selector knob. Dimensions are approximately 250 x 225 x 36.7mm with a weight of approximately 1,800g. Available in Silver and Black.
