EverSolo DMP-A10 Network Streamer & DAC

The DMP-A10 sits at the top of EverSolo's range, a full-width statement component that brings together a network streamer, reference digital-to-analogue converter, digital audio player, fully balanced preamplifier and a capable DSP engine in a single chassis. It is the flagship above the DMP-A8 and the more compact DMP-A6, and it is the model with which EverSolo moves squarely into full-size high-end hi-fi.

Digital Conversion

At the heart of the DMP-A10 are two flagship ESS ES9039Pro DAC chips, configured for true balanced operation with one converter dedicated to each channel. This dual-DAC arrangement maximises channel separation and lowers noise, and the converter handles PCM files up to 32-bit/768kHz along with native DSD up to DSD512. Timing is managed by dual oven-controlled crystal oscillators (OCXO), which hold the audio clocks at a constant temperature to keep jitter to a minimum.

Power and Construction

The DMP-A10 uses dual linear power supplies that separate the digital and analogue sections, and a heavyweight CNC-machined chassis. A high-speed electrical isolation system based on iCoupler technology is used to improve data transmission accuracy and reduce jitter through the signal path.

Connectivity

Inputs include two coaxial and two optical digital inputs, a USB Type-B input and an HDMI ARC input for connecting a television. A dedicated SFP fibre LAN port sits alongside a standard RJ45 Ethernet connection, offering optical network isolation that reduces electrical interference; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (aptX Adaptive) are also provided. On the output side there are balanced XLR and single-ended RCA analogue outputs, coaxial and optical digital outputs, and an isolated USB audio output for feeding an external DAC with reduced noise. Twin subwoofer outputs are individually adjustable, so one or two subwoofers can be added or the function disabled as required.

Control and Storage

The front panel is dominated by a 6.5-inch LCD touchscreen, supported by a separate round display built into the volume control. The unit functions as a fully balanced preamplifier with resistor-ladder volume control, and two internal M.2 NVMe SSD slots allow local storage of up to two 4TB drives for a built-in music library. Streaming is handled through the EverSolo Control app with support for the major high-resolution services, and a supplied remote handset provides everyday control.
