The AMP-F10 is the flagship power amplifier in EverSolo's separates range, conceived as a dedicated partner for the DMP-A10 and DMP-A8 streaming preamplifiers. It is a pure power amplifier with no streaming or preamp stage of its own, intended for listeners building a music-focused system around an external source and preamplifier.
Design
The AMP-F10 uses a dual-mono Class AB design, with each channel running its own independent amplification fed by a large toroidal power supply. Each channel is built around five pairs of high-current MOSFET output devices arranged in a symmetrical, dual-differential configuration. A DC filtering circuit sits between the mains supply and the audio stage to suppress low-frequency DC interference and transformer hum, helping to deliver cleaner power to the audio circuit.
Performance
In stereo mode the AMP-F10 delivers 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 320 watts into 4 ohms and 450 watts into 2 ohms. A pair of units, or a single unit switched to bridge mode, can be configured for mono operation delivering 650 watts into 8 ohms and 950 watts into 4 ohms. Total harmonic distortion is quoted at 0.008%, with a damping factor greater than 600 and a frequency response of 10Hz to 30kHz.
Connectivity
Both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA line inputs are provided, allowing the amplifier to be matched to a wide range of preamplifiers. A switchable gain setting (23dB or 29dB) and 12V trigger in and out connections are included for system integration. Two illuminated VU meters on the front panel respond to the music being played.
