Deep Purple - Greatest Hits [Gold] (4LP) Vinyl

Greatest Hits is a four LP Deep Purple compilation issued by the Dutch reissue label Music On Vinyl under catalogue number MOVLP3825. This pressing is a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on gold coloured vinyl, cut to 180 gram audiophile weight and presented as a 4LP set in a deluxe slipcase with an insert. It was released on 16 January 2026 and manufactured in the Netherlands.

The Compilation

The collection was compiled by Jerry Bloom and first issued in 2009. It draws on Deep Purple's Sony and RCA catalogue, combining studio recordings licensed from 1990, 1993 and 1996 with a substantial run of live performances. The live material comes from two 1993 concerts: the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle in Stuttgart on 16 October 1993 and the NEC Arena in Birmingham on 9 November 1993.

Across 33 tracks and eight sides, the set pairs concert readings of the band's best known songs, including Child In Time, Hush, Smoke On The Water and Highway Star, with studio tracks from the same period such as The Battle Rages On, King Of Dreams, Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming and The Purpendicular Waltz.

Pressing and Packaging

All four records are pressed on 180 gram gold coloured vinyl and housed in a deluxe slipcase. Each copy carries an individual number from the run of 1500, and an insert carrying the full track credits is included. The release is issued by Music On Vinyl B.V., a division of Artone Label Group, for Sony Music Entertainment.
