The Rubikore On-Wall sits within DALI's Rubikore series, the range that brings technology developed for the flagship KORE loudspeaker into a more attainable line-up. Within that series it is the dedicated wall-mount model, offering high-end performance in a slim, low-profile cabinet designed to sit flat against the wall rather than on a stand or in a cabinet.
Hybrid Tweeter Module
High frequencies are handled by a rotatable Hybrid Tweeter module that pairs a 29mm soft dome with a 17 x 45mm planar magnetic ribbon. The module incorporates a new ferrofluid-free, low-loss dome tweeter derived from the KORE design. Because the module rotates, the speaker can be installed in either a portrait or a horizontal orientation while keeping the drivers correctly aligned, which makes it equally suited to a stereo pair or to centre and surround duties in a multichannel system.
Clarity Cone Woofer
Bass and midrange come from a 6.5-inch driver built around DALI's Clarity Cone, a wood-fibre cone, working with the company's SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) magnet material to reduce distortion. The cabinet is a bass-reflex design that uses the wall behind the speaker as part of its loading, helping the slim enclosure deliver deeper, more impactful bass than its profile would suggest.
Placement and Use
With its shallow depth and wall-mount format, the Rubikore On-Wall is intended for installations where floorstanding or standmount speakers are impractical. It works in traditional two-channel stereo and integrates into a home cinema system as a front, centre or surround channel. Each speaker is assembled and tested by hand in Denmark.
