Charli XCX - Wuthering Heights [Green & Black Marbled] (LP) Vinyl

Wuthering Heights is the seventh studio album by Charli XCX and her soundtrack to Emerald Fennell's 2026 film adaptation of Emily Brontë's novel. Atlantic Records issued it on 13 February 2026, the same day the film reached cinemas.

Work began in December 2024, when Fennell approached Charli to record a song for the film. Inspired by the screenplay, she wrote several tracks with her frequent collaborator Finn Keane and then proposed a full companion album, which the pair wrote and recorded in rented studio spaces throughout 2025 while she was on the Brat Tour. Charli has described the record as an "elegant and brutal sound palette" that "couldn't be more different from Brat", aiming for a world that felt raw, wild, gothic and British.

The Music

The opening track "House" carries a spoken word poem by John Cale of the Velvet Underground and was released as the lead single on 10 November 2025. Strings run through the album: "Wall of Sound" has no percussion at all and is built around increasingly intense string arrangements, while "Seeing Things" is set around staccato strings. "Always Everywhere" and "Chains of Love" are synth-pop ballads, "Eyes of the World" is a power ballad featuring Sky Ferreira, and the closing "Funny Mouth" returns to the atonal strings and heavier production of the opener. Three further singles were taken from the album: "Chains of Love", "Wall of Sound" and "Always Everywhere".

Reception

The album holds a Metacritic score of 82, indicating universal acclaim. It entered the UK Albums Chart at number one on 20 February 2026, selling 21,071 units in its first week and giving Charli XCX her third UK number one. In the United States it debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200 and topped the Soundtrack Albums chart.

This is the standard single LP on green and black marbled vinyl, released by Atlantic under catalogue number 075678590818. It is issued in a standard jacket with a printed inner sleeve and a lyric booklet enclosed in an envelope.
