Cassette Tape Aesthetic
The rear panel of the SK-M21C features embossed cassette tape detail with the FiiO logo and "Born For Music" inscription, recreating the look of a compact cassette in blue anodised finish. When the M21 is installed and the transparent front panel is in place, the device's screen displays a cassette reel animation that completes the retro effect.
Precision Construction
FiiO describes the manufacturing process as remarkably intricate, with uncompromising standards for product quality throughout. The case features a hinged transparent lid, secure fixings for the M21, and cutouts that provide access to the playback controls and charging port.
