Highway 61 Revisited is Bob Dylan's sixth studio album, first released by Columbia Records in 1965. This edition is the 2015 Columbia and Legacy reissue, pressed on 180 gram vinyl and presented in mono.
The Album
Recorded in 1965, Highway 61 Revisited marked Dylan's full move to an electric, rock-based sound. The nine tracks open with "Like a Rolling Stone" and close with the extended "Desolation Row", and take in "Tombstone Blues", "Ballad of a Thin Man" and the title track "Highway 61 Revisited".
