This 180 gram audiophile pressing on the Vinyl Passion Classical label presents Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92, performed by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under Herbert von Karajan.
The Work
Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 to 1827), the Seventh Symphony is one of his most rhythmically driven orchestral works. This edition presents the complete symphony across two sides: Poco sostenuto - Vivace and Allegretto on side A, followed by Presto - Assai meno presto and Allegro con brio on side B.
Pressing and Mastering
The album is pressed on 180 gram vinyl and cut using DMM (Direct Metal Mastering). The original recordings have been remastered for this reissue, released in 2015 and made in the EU.
