The Art Vinyl Play & Display is the original system for displaying 12-inch vinyl LP artwork on the wall, designed and launched in London in 2005. The frame holds a standard 12-inch sleeve behind a UV-resistant crystal clear front panel, turning album art into wall art whilst keeping the record fully playable without unscrewing or removing the frame.
Flip-Open Access
A single press of the catch at the top swings the front panel open on a hinged mechanism, giving immediate access to the record inside. The sponge finger system on the rear accommodates sleeves of varying thickness, and soft corner pads on the back protect wall surfaces from marking. Records can be swapped in seconds, which is the point: Play & Display is designed for collectors who rotate their displayed records regularly, not just as a one-time installation.
UV Protection
The crystal clear front panel is UV-resistant, protecting artwork and sleeve from sun fade over long-term display. The frame is constructed from recycled plastic and is designed for years of repeated use.
Simple Installation
The frame arrives fully assembled and requires a single fixing screw, which is included. It is also compatible with adhesive Command Strips for screw-free installation on any wall surface. The Play & Display frame is available in White and Black, and can be combined in multiples to create a gallery-style display across a wall.
